Are You Guilty of Making This Common Mistake in Your Online Marketing?
I was live on Facebook this morning chatting about one common mistake that I see entrepreneurs and small businesses making all the time in their online marketing.
Here’s the replay recording for your convenience:
This common mistake is being too generalized in your marketing message.
Not speaking to a specific ideal target audience means you’re not resonating at the deepest level with them. You’re diluting your message to try to appeal to everybody, instead of attracting more of your ideal customers and clients.
Instead, do the work to know exactly who you’re speaking to in your online marketing. Use language that will resonate with them. That will make them think, “Hey, she’s talking to ME!”
I give a Customer Avatar Worksheet to each of my clients before we begin work, and I’d like to give it to you, too, to guide you in defining just who your ideal customer is.
Be sure to watch the video. It’s not long. Then download your own Exactly Write Customer Avatar Worksheet.
Do the work to make your online marketing as powerful as it can be … as powerful as it should be … as powerful as it must be to get the results your business deserves.
And if you need help, I’m here for you.
